school isn't going as well as i'd like. it's just going slow, so i've scheduled a meeting with my professor to help get things back on track.

at some point in the near future, i'm going to get a smartphone, as i need a PDA to keep all the stuff i'm doing in order. it should be fun, since i like techy things :D

my guitar lessons are paying off! yesterday i had Chris show me how to apply some of the things he's taught me on this one particular album (Buckethead's Population Override). i tried some of them out, and found myself able to get outside of my old comfort zone, which is 100% why i started the lessons in the first place.

...i still did pretty good.

my bat was hot too! my first hit went right past the Third Baseman, and i got a double. my second hit went just about the same place, more towards Short Stop, and i had another double. the third hit went straight to the Pitcher, and i was thrown out at first, however, i hit a run in, tying us up.

i think the final score was something like 16-15, and although we lost, i had a TON of fun playing last night. i got to handle the ball quite a bit, and got to run around a good deal.

in house news, tomorrow night we're doing a bunch more packing, as we've put it off for a few days. hopefully by this weekend we'll be finished with the move!
